Kerkje aan de Zee
Located at Wijk 4 1, 8321 GC Urk, Netherlands, is the oldest church building in Urk.
It was constructed on the site of an older church in 1786.
The church is owned by the Church Council of the Reformed Congregation of Urk, and the tower is owned by the town of Urk.
The church has the status of a national monument.
On Sundays, no worship services are held at the church, but weddings are still conducted here. Additionally, special services are organized in the Urker dialect during the winter, known as the Urker Vespers.
Inside the church, two ship models can be found:
- a cargo vessel
- a fishing boat
A third ship, a turf barge, has been relocated to the Ark building.
