The Dorpskerk

The "Dorpskerk" is a church located in the town of Hoog-Keppel, Netherlands. The Village Church was built in the 14th century and has been a central part of the community ever since. Its exact construction date is unknown, but it's believed to have been erected during the Gothic period.

The church features a Romanesque-style tower and a Gothic-style nave. Over time, various architectural styles were incorporated into its design, including Baroque and Neoclassical elements.

As one of the oldest churches in Hoog-Keppel, the Dorpskerk has played a vital role in the town's history and culture. It has served as a place of worship, a community center, and even a refuge during times of war.

The church remains an active place of worship today, with regular services held by the Protestant Church in the Netherlands (PKN). Visitors can still admire its stunning architecture and beautiful stained-glass windows.
