The Sint-Gertrudiskerk

The Sint-Gertrudiskerk is a church located at Marchierstraat 12A, 6321 AL Wijlre, Netherlands. The church is situated in Wijlre, within the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem, which is part of the Dutch province of Zuid-Limburg.

To the west of the church lies the Brand Bierbrouwerij, a brewery dating back to 1340, and further along the watermolen van Otten. Along the eastern side of the church runs the N595 highway, while on the other side is the main road leading to Gulpen.

The church building itself is dedicated to Saint Gertrude, also known as Gertrudis of Nijvel. The structure sits atop a small hill in the middle of the village and is surrounded by a cemetery.
