The Faith Mosque

The Faith Mosque was built in 1979 to serve the growing Muslim community in Eindhoven. The mosque was designed by architect Hans van Heijningen and took two years to complete.

Initially, it could accommodate around 500 worshippers, but due to its popularity, an extension was added in 1995, increasing the capacity to approximately 1,200 people.

The mosque's architecture is inspired by traditional Islamic styles, with a blend of modern elements. The main building is designed as a square shape, surrounded by a courtyard. The minaret stands at 30 meters (98 feet) tall and serves as a beacon for the community.

The interior features intricate tile work, ornate arches, and colorful mosaics.
