Sint-Lambertuskerk

Location: Deken van Miertstraat 4, 5461 JN Veghel, Netherlands.

The church was built in the Gothic Revival style and features a characteristic Romanesque tower.

• The first stone was laid in 1895,
• and the church was consecrated in 1903.

The church has a unique design with a longitudinal nave, a rectangular choir, and a bell tower at its intersection.

1. The interior of the church is adorned with beautiful stained-glass windows, sculptures, and ornate wood carvings.
2. This three-aisled cruciform basilica was designed by Pierre Cuypers and constructed between 1855 and 1862.

The church was consecrated in 1863 by Archbishop-Metropolitan Joannes Zwijsen, forming an early high point in Cuypers' career.

Sint-Lambertuskerk is an important spiritual center for the local community in Veghel, serving as a place of worship, baptism, marriage, and burial.
